A practical skill for when an event is still affecting you

Emotion Pathway® is a practical, self-applied early-intervention framework that gives people a skill they can use when an experience continues to trigger an emotional response.

Designed to work without disclosure or the need to talk through what happened, it provides something practical that can be used in the moment, when a person first recognises that an experience is still affecting them.

Built around our 5R framework

Recognise | Reassure | Release | Return | Reflect

Designed for schools, emergency services and workplaces, Emotion Pathway® brings practical, trauma-informed skills into organisations, giving people of any age something they can learn and use for themselves when needed.

The research behind the approach

The Manse Method® draws on established and emerging areas of research relevant to emotional regulation, traumatic memories and PTSD. It brings together elements informed by this research within a proprietary, structured and content-free approach.

Emotion Pathway® builds on this work within a practical early-intervention framework designed to be learned and self-applied when someone first recognises that an experience is continuing to affect them.

Emotion Pathway® itself is new, and we are now piloting and evaluating the framework in real-world settings.
